The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is a globally recognized pre-university course for students aged 16-19. The program focuses on developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people with a strong international understanding.
CTI is also a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) for grade school.
The students study three languages, English, French and Arabic. Science is offered in English with American / PYP coordinated curricula. Mathematics is offered in English, and is advanced American and Lebanese, with PYP guidelines in grade school. French is offered in coordination with the French Cultural Center, and we prepare our students for the DELF in middle school. Arabic language follows what we believe to be the best offered locally, with provision for non-Lebanese students. Our curriculum also includes Bible, drama, art, music, PE and more. Students in middle school sit for the Brevet official exams in grade 9.
“Christian Teaching Institute is a candidate school* for the PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy- a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education- that we believe is important for our students.
