Dr Sahar Azar is a college professor, a member of environmental NGOs, and an expert on migratory birds. Her talk was on the conservation of these birds who traverse Lebanon during their migration. Lebanon is a bottle-neck for lots of migratory birds, and this is why we should care that these birds pass safely. The talk was illuminating, and the students found the presentation very interesting!
