PYP parents’ meetings

The PYP teachers hosted an Open House for the parents. Parents had the chance to meet with the teachers, discuss their children’s academic performance, and see the work of the students. It was a profitable and cheery occasion!
PYP Collaborative Meeting

The IB PYP teachers had an extended collaborative meeting, summing up their summer’s work and preparing for the school year. Mrs Banna Chaar, PYP coordinator, organized the event, and the teachers came up with extraordinary plans for the year.
PYP IT workshop

The PYP teachers at CTI had a workshop in which Mr George Melki and associate demonstrated how to use the new Progress Report. Mrs Banna Chaar, PYP coordinator, was there as facilitator. The workshop was very well presented, and the teachers found the new system to their liking. Pictures are available in the Gallery section.
Robotics – Arabic tie-in

By special invitation from Miss Latife Yaghi, the Arabic teacher of grade 4, Mrs Ghaya Abi Antoun gave a talk about robotics. This was part of the PYP theme. We share a few pictures in the Gallery section.
Archaeological discovery with grade 5

Mrs Mary Kfoury organized an outing to little known Roman baths, discovered in the basement of an apartment building! Grade 3 visits a farm

It was the turn of grade 3 to take their PYP-themed lesson at a farm. The outing was educational and fun as well, respecting the current PYP theme. PYP theme tie-in: Grade 2 goes to the zoo!

Grade 1 visits Terre Liban as tie-in to theme

Grade 1 visited Mr Paul Abi Rached’s Terre Liban for an ecological get-together.
