As part of the How We Organize Ourselves unit, Grade 4 students took their learning beyond the classroom to make a tangible difference in their community. Guided by the central idea that organizations help people and communities by offering services and support, students investigated how structured systems and healthcare services contribute to the well-being of individuals with diverse needs.
To put this into action, the students organized a bake sale to support a charity for people with special needs, demonstrating that meaningful impact requires purposeful collaboration and cooperation. Students recognized their responsibility to provide essential services through principled and caring action.
We show pictures of the visit of grade 4 to an organization that takes care of people with special needs.
Bravo, students!
